In JoyPilates we continue to invest in training that is serious, up to date, and deeply practical. As an authorized Balanced Body Education Spain center, over the past months we have been running different trainings and modules aimed at those who want to deepen their Pilates Apparatus practice and take the next step in their journey, whether as practitioners or future instructors.

Balanced Body is an international benchmark in mind-body education, and its approach is built on something we consider essential: understanding the body in order to move better. That’s why, within the modules delivered, we dedicated an important part to the Principles of Movement, which provide very useful tools to observe, analyze, and improve movement through anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, and optimal movement patterns.

What we worked on during the training

Across the different sessions and modules, the focus was on integrating technique with movement quality, covering areas such as:

  • Pilates fundamentals (mat and equipment), understanding the purpose behind each exercise and its objective.
  • Specific work in modules such as Reformer, going deeper into the repertoire and its practical application.
  • Correct and safe use of the equipment, to teach with precision and confidence.
  • Practical application of the repertoire, with progressions, variations, and adaptations depending on the level.
  • Constant emphasis on alignment, control, breathing, and flow, so movement is efficient and mindful.

In addition, the training is organized into pathways that allow you to progress in an orderly way and with a global view of the method, integrating different levels and apparatus in a coherent way. During this period, different modules have been offered, such as Reformer and Principles of Movement, delivered in both Spanish and English.

A training that adds value: continuity, criteria, and growth

This type of training doesn’t just expand repertoire: it sharpens a professional eye. It helps us observe better, teach with more intention, and offer more effective and safer sessions, adapted to the real needs of each student.

It is also an excellent opportunity to keep our practice up to date, reinforce teaching criteria, and continue building a solid foundation that shows both in one-to-one sessions and in group work. In addition, in our latest trainings we have been fortunate to welcome students who traveled to Mallorca from different parts of the world to train with us, further enriching the experience and professional exchange.
